Final major project final first aid pitch from lisalouise mc elhinney
So I’ve decided to continue on with the First Aid Aware PPD Brief, I feel that there is more to develop with this idea and i would like to bring this project to a finished product.
This will project will develop and change & also grow as it goes along. A brief run down of my idea, I am basically going to design an activity for interactive whiteboard for the age of 4 years old, I will be creating 3 scenarios, 1: How to perform CPR 2: How to treat a cut or wound 3: How to treat a scald or burn with 4 tasks within each activity. The reason I’ve decided to use interactive whiteboards is that every primary school use’s them, through research I realized how it helps engage the class together and also the teacher, it also helps with the child’s confident and its also a fun and an exciting way to learn new things and they can all participate in these activities together.
To outline what iv already completed within the PPD exploration is that I’ve created a sales pitch video of my design solution for the clients, which they were very pleased with, i developed from there my sketches to potential solutions. Moving on then from this I developed my sketches with color and layout, I started designing my characters in illustrator and all my back ground scenes and objects.
For my final hand in of the First Aid Aware brief I developed a prototype of how it will potentially look with alignment and color and how it will work.
I explored numerous research from children s activity books, to online games, to help me gain an idea of alignment color and just general ideas for my project. I also researched Interactive Whiteboard software’s that I could potentially use to design my final product. For example Mimio studio , which i downloaded to get a closer look at how it works and how activities will be functioned.. So basically this is everything I’ve done so far, still in very early stages of completing a final product but iv got potential ideas to help pave the way and get me off on the right track.
Desired outcome from this major project is to have a finalized product for the client and also for the major brief, I want to be able to learn and develop my skills through this, taking a more professional approach. This will help me progress further with the adobe package (illustrator/photoshop/etc).
